What's in YOUR Purse???

Hey Beauties! I wanted to do a tutorial on what makeup products are in your bag! Some women keep only the bare minimum, like chapstick, and some go alittle overboard (like me) and take their whole makeup collection. But I want to share with you some makeup items that all ladies need to carry in their purses to keep you looking fabulous!! So get your purses!! :)

1. LIPGLOSS w/ hint of Color- Colors with shimmer and that are in the gold, coppers, or bronze catagory will look pretty. Or you can go for a more natural color like browns and pinks. But you want something that has a pop of color to it.

2. MASCARA- Black mascara gives a bolder look to your lashes. I love Maybelline!! Great lash and the new Falsies Volume work great!

3.BRONZER- I like bronzers that have different colors in them. You can use either the powder or cream brozers. They both work well.

4. EVERYDAY EYESHADOW- You need to have a color shadow that compliments your skintone and gives a shimmer to your eyes. Colors in the gold, bronze, or brown tones look great! QT: On days when you are in a rush, jus apply the shadow under your browbone and in the inner corners of the eye. It looks great!

5. EYELINER- You can use either a liquid or pencil eyeliner. But dont be afraid of the liquid, it jus takes a lilittle practice, but in the end you will love it! :)

6. POWDER/MOOUSE FOUNDATION- These work better for your purse, because they are compact. The moouse works great on those problem areas.

7. FLUFFY BRUSH- Can be used to apply your powder or bronzer.

8. EYESHADOW BRUSH- Can be used to apply your shadow neatly.

9. EYEBROW BRUSH- Use this brush to clean up your eyebrows, and make them look neat.

* So these are pretty much the basics you will need to make your face look fabulous. So always carry these in your purse and you will be ready for any occasion!! :)*

FAB 4 LOOKS!

Makeup Look #1

This is a great Summer look! Pinks are great for the summer and look good on any skintone! So here is the HOW TO:

For my lids: I used a vibrant matte pink shadow to my entire lid up to the crease.

For my crease: I used a matte dark brown shadow to the crease and BLENDED it inward.

For the browbone: I used concealer under my brow to really define the eyebrows, and then applied a matte/shimmer cream color shadow on top.

For cheeks: I only applied a bronzer to the cheekbones, nose, and forehead.

For lips: I applied a pale pink gloss or you can use jus a chapstick!

I love this Look! :)

Makeup Look #2

This look is very pretty and it can be worn an lots a different skintones. I was going for a rosy look and used pale purple to the crease. It turned out great! Here is a HOW TO:

For the lids: I applied a shimmery silver to the entire lid up to the crease.

For the crease: I applied a pale matte purple in the crease and BLENDED inward.

For the browbone: I used a conceler under the brow to really define my eyebrows and then applied a matte cream color shadow on top.

For the bottom lashes: I applied a black eyepencil to the waterline and lashline, only going halfway in.

Then i appled my liquid liner and mascara.

For cheeks: I applied a rosy pink blush to my cheeks, and bronzer to my cheekbones, nose, and forehead.

For lips: I applied a shimmery mauve gloss to my lips to complete the look!

Makeup Look #3

For this look its pretty similar to look #1, but instead of smoke greys, i used blues. Blues look great on darker skin tones! I gave it alittle more pop by lining my lower lid with a blue eye pencil. This is a great look for any special occasion! I wore this look for the Memorial. HOW TO:

For my lid: I applied a shimmery gold to my entire lid, but only up to the crease of the eye lid.

For my crease: I a[pplied a matte dark blue shadow to the crease and BLENDED toward the tear duct!

For the browbone: I used again a natural matte shadow under the brow. Use a shadow that matches your skintone.

For the lower lashes: I applied a blue eyeliner pencil to the lower lashline, to give my eyes more of a pop.

Then apply your black liquid eyeliner and mascara.

QUICK TIP: If you have trouble using liquid liner, and lining your entire eye, try lining only the outside corners of your eye intead. It looks great and more natural, and its alot easier to do.

For cheeks: Used a pale apricot color blush and applied bronzer to the cheekbones, nose, and forehead.

For lips: Used a shimmery gloss with a hint of color. But anything thats similar to your lip color and has a shine will work!

Makeup Look #4

This makeup look is a nice sutle smokey eye. Iused Golds, Bronzes, and a smoke grey in the coners. I like using smokey greys in the corners of my eyes, instead of black, because black can seem to be alittle too harsh. This is a great look if you wanna new change, or for a night out. HOW TO:

For my lid: Used a shimmery gold shadow to my entire lid

For the Crease: Used a smokey matte grey shadow to my crease, and BLEND BLEND BLEND!

For browbone: Used a natural matte cream color, something close to your skin color

Then apply ur liquid black eyeliner, and black mascara.

For cheeks: Apply a natural blush and then your bronzer, to cheekbones, bridge of nose, and forehead. Bronzer is Key!!

For Lips: Keep the lips natural and apply a nice matte nude color and a gloss

****** If these four looks dont turn out the exact same, its okay as long as it blends well and is applied properly, you cant go wrong, you will look Great! :)

Setting the Foundation

Hey Beauties!! The right foundation is so important when it comes to creating your look. This is the go-to product to achieve a polished flawless look. So here a few different kinds of foundations you can choose to work best for your skin.~

Liquid Foundation: These work best because they melt into your skin and blend well. The right liquid foundation mimics your skins natural texture, while evening out your skin tone.

Tinted Moisturizer: A good foundation for women who want very light coverage. And many of these foundations contain sunscreen, which protects your skin from the sun.

Spray/Airbrush Foundation: Great for women that want a heavier and longer wearing coverage.

Stick/Cream Foundation: Works best for women that have very dry skin. Its also good for women that have acne scars or hyperpigmented skin. It camouflages discoloration and scars, to make your skin more natural looking.

Beauty DONT'S!!

Hey Beauties!! I wanted to share with you all the Beauty DONT'S that no women should do! Hope you find these helpful!

1. When you are filling in your brows, never use a black eye pencil. Way too harsh!! Try using a brown or dark brown, it looks more natural.

2. Less is best, so dont overdue it with the foundation! Try only applying it to the area where needed.

3. When you are wearing blush, you never want a heavy harsh line on the cheeks. Never looks flattering! Try applying the blush lightly and only to the apples of the cheeks.

4.To all the tweezer happy ladies: Do not overpluck, wax or shave your eyebrows. Only pluk the hairs that are out of place. If you are not sure where they are go to a professional and let them do it, then all you have to do is the upkeep. So much easier that way :)

5. When using mascara, its nice to have volume, but you dont want clumpy weighted down lashes. Two coats of mascara is usually all you will need.

6. When wearing makeup, you dont want your whole makeup collection on your face! Jus focus on one feature on the face( example eyes, lips, cheeks) and highlight that. If you play up the eyes, then tone down the lips. If you go bold on the lips, then tone down the eyes. Its all about balancing out your makeup, and you will look flawless.

-5 Minute Face-

Hey Ladies! I know alot of women dont want to spend hours on their face every morning, well here is a way you can look fabulous in just 5 minutes!! Hope you can make it work for you! =)

STEP 1: Foundation
Use a sponge or foundation brush of your choice, to apply your foundation or tinted moisturizer evenly on the face.

Step 2: Under Eye Concealer
Dab concealer under the eyes with your ring finger, going all the way to the inner corners of the eye. ( Use this step only if you need concealer under the eye area)

Step 3: Powder
Apply face powder with a clean brush. Dust the powder down your nose, across your chin and forehead, and over the cheeks and eyes. Try to leave the tips of cheekbones powder-free.

Step 4: Highlighter
Pearly shimmers come in powders, sheer creams, luminizing liquids, or light reflective crayons. Sweep hightlighting powder in three areas: under the browbone, inner corners of eye tearducts, and the top of the cheekbones. If you choose to wear a cream or liquid highlighter, use before you apply powder to your face, and use small amounts with your ring finger.

Step 5: Blush
Apply blush to the apples of the cheeks, with a fluffy brush, it will look more natural. If you like to use cream blushes, apply the cream blush before you apply powder to your face.

Step 6: Eyeliner
Apply a pencil or liquid liner to the eyes. When using liquid liner you can also apply only to the outer corners of the eyes it will give a more natural look and is alot easier to apply.

Step 7: Mascara
Apply whatever mascara of choice to your eyes.

Step 8: Lipcolor
Use a tinted lip balm or lipgloss, to finish the look!!

Makeup 101

Hey Beauties!!!

I have been asked many times about some makeup tips, so I want to take the time to give you the Top 10 Makeup Tips, that I think you should know. Hope they are helpful! :-)

1. When you are applying foundation, never forget the neck. Always apply upward, never pulling your skin downward. Using a wet sponge gives you a dewy fresher look. But remember less is more!!

2. When using concealers, use a yellow based concealer, its most natural. Choose a concealer one shade lighter than your natural skin tone.

3. No matter your skin tone-yellow toned powder always looks most natural and radiant. Powder is used to set foundation and control shine on your face.

4. For women of color- using a blush with a bit of gold shimmer looks great! Always wear blush on the apples of your cheeks, and blend it well.

5. When using bronzer, apply on the areas the sun hits naturally-the cheekbones, bridge of nose, and foreheaed. Bronzer can be worn antyime of the year, not just in the summer! It always makes your face glow!!

6.When filling in your eyebrows, always use short feathery strocks, so it will look and blend more naturally. Black eyebrow pencils never look natural, use dark browns.

7. When applying eyeshadow, its best to use a eye primer on the lid first, then you apply the natural tone shadow on the whole eyelid, following with the darkerst color shadow ONLY in the crease of eye, then you can finish with applying the lightest shadow just under the browbone, to give a nice highlight to your eyes.

8. Before wearing mascara, if your eyelashes a more natually straight, use and eyelash curler, this will lift and fan your eyelashes out, and make your eyes appear bigger. Its also good to get new mascara at least every two months.

9.If you like to wear lipcolors, its best to line your lips with a lipliner, this will help keep your lipcolor in place, and keeps it lasting longer. Lip glosses are great for just a suttle color look, and gives a great shine!

10. For longer makeup hold, spray water through a tissue, this will help set the foundation.

Makeup is used to INHANCE your natural beauty, so wear it right and you will look natually beautiful!!! :-)
